Just couldn't think who. I love Jackie DeShannon. Her What the World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love was the anthem for a generation.

...I couldn't find it.
There was an MTV spot where Jackie sang the song with backing tracks more like the hit version.
She sounded remarkably like Kim Carnes, raspy voice & all!
Wish I could track it down.
