Colors of the Day is in my 100 collection for a desert island. Right next to Joni Mitchell's Blue and coincidentally enough, Miles Davis's Blue.

(231,102 posts)I still remember the beautiful dress she wore. And it is still the most memorable concert I've ever attended, it was a double bill with Arlo Guthrie! I think we may have been 14.

(64,271 posts)... at Chipawa Lake Park, the Outsiders were headline-ing. First time I saw a dude with seriously long hair, and the arcade had the best jukebox I'd ever seen, just the latest stuff and no "standards" or country.

(231,102 posts)That summer we went to three concerts, Blood, Sweat & Tears, José Feliciano and the double bill of Judy Collins and Arlo Guthrie. And it must have been late in the season since my friends and I had been to summer camp in Vermont. I looked at the schedule for Saratoga Performing Arts Center for this coming summer and they don't make summers like that anymore.

Even my dreams have a soundtrack. Can't remember any of it, sort of background music.
