Charlie Christian 1941 at Minton's.

If anybody remembers I mentioned the tuberculosis sanatoriums back in the day. Charlie was such a pioneer, along with others, on guitar and was tragically taken very young by TB at a sanatorium. He was 24 years old when this was recorded and he had spent the prior 2 years getting sensational recognition playing in the Benny Goodman band. Within a few weeks of these recordings at Minton's Charlie came down sick with TB and died a few months later.
