2. Fan-damn-tastic!

The only versions I like better than this are from Hendrix himself (which Mason plays on, IIRC), and Melanie (Safka).

I never thought anybody could ever top Hendrix' version, and still think it--but when I heard Melanie's version on satellite radio, my jaw hit the floor; it was damn near as good as Jimi's. Unfortunately, that was the only time I heard it, and I cannot find it ANYWHERE on the Internet!
