I couldn't tell you for sure if they were good or not.
They were oppressively loud. And there was this midrange howl on every song that really fatigued our ears.
It literally took me until the lyrics started that I realized they were playing Sweet Lorraine, later in the show.
I don't mind loud, but this was ridiculous.
Same thing happened at an Aerosmith show.

I saw The Fixx at The Vic. Under 1,000 seats for sure.
A year ago I saw The Beat (80s King Crimson reunion). That place seats around 1,500.
The Fixx tickets were cheap. The Beat tickets, not so much.

Other than local acts, I won't be going to any more concerts. Too much driving, too much hassle, not important enough anymore.
