Yesterday

The Side A/Side B lead tracks from Dead Man's Party - 'Just Another Day' and 'Stay' - will always be my two favorite Oingo Boingo songs.

The other is 'We Close Our Eyes' from the follow-up album, Boi-ngo:

They were so precise live. Danny's music is written requiring that precision,but when I saw them in SoCal they were outstanding.

One of the best live bands I've ever seen... had the slightly surreal experience (and great pleasure) of seeing them in spring of 1987, at a suburban NJ 'supper club' (Club Bené)... that would have been the tour in support of Boi-ngo. *chef's kiss*

And the 1995 live concert film (Farewell: Live From The Universal Amphitheatre) is a must watch.
