Not because I didn't like it and not because it wasn't great.
But, a few dozen people I knew had it, so hearing it over & over was never an issue.
I just didn't need to buy my own copy.
Oh and, my wife had it so I ended up with it anyway.

It's not even in the Top 100 anymore, but 50+ years have passed.
It sold around 25 million copies, and several album have gone over 70 million (Thriller at nearly 120 million) so Tapestry is almost a footnote by now, but 25 million albums is 25 million albums.
