What attracted me to the song many years ago was that it has - for lack of better description - a Mersey Beat feel like it was something from Liverpool in 1964, only updated.

Then I read where Tim and Neil grew up harmonizing on Beatle tunes.

Later I found out that Neil’s favorite Beatle song is Across the Universe. Both songs mention a paper cup in the first verse.

6. I'm Doing This Song Tomorrow Night

I figured out a neat way to emulate the organ solo on my 12 string. Pretty fun.
