... that was beautiful, but I'm ashamed to admit that I've never seen a Chapman Stick before. I may heard one with realizing what it was, but what an amazing instrument!
Tuning one must be a challenge!

here, one of them recorded by Cascade. (Mark White and his girlfriend Steffi). His website is https://www.markwhitelive.com/ . That's where I read there are only 8,000 Chapman Sticks. Check out his website. He's an environmentalist, too.

Here's another, and if you look at the YouTube comments, you'll see this comment

Incredible! Are you self taught? I would love to learn this instrument. Thank you for bringing it to the forefront. I am looking for a teacher in NH. ❤

I learned from my guitar teacher when I was a teenager and now I am teaching my girlfriend
Finding a teacher is tricky because they’re so few players out there.
It’s possible to teach yourself as well though

...for the enlightenment! I used to play guitar a little, but suffered from ADOS (Attention Deficit/Oh Shiny!) and didn't concentrate enough on learning to do it well.
But now I'm too old and arthritis cramps my style a bit. I do love the music of the Chapman Stick, though!

I always wanted to try one. But, it looks pretty hard, but I think it would lend itself to piano thinking, which I can do.
Tony Levin plays one. When I saw The Beat tour he played it on about half the songs.

than most people could.

It's out of my price range. Used ones are rare and apparently start at a few thousand dollars. If you order a new one, they start at $4,000 - always a custom order - and you'll be waiting over a year, maybe two years, judging by some social media posts I saw.

There's currently a used one on eBay for $6,000 or best offer - and a number of people are watching it:
