(3,001 posts)The numbers of AI voices/singers is growing every day. Same goes for chord voicing and music creation too.
Pretty soon, DAW's will have a "Create Song" button. Just tell it how long and what key.
Sad. Glad I hung on to my old record and uncompressed CD collections.

(52,287 posts)the potential harm it could do. I posted a Rick Beato video in both Music Appreciation and the Lounge back in January, a video Rick was inspired to do both by what his daughter told him about ChatGPT and what Billy Corgan said about AI

and have posted other threads about AI here in the Musicians group

and in Music Appreciation

though most of my posts about AI and ChatGPT have been in GD, since it isn't just AI's effect on the music industry that concerns me. Stories about it really caught my attention last winter, and I noticed just now, looking for that Rick Beato video via Google search in the upper right corner, that keyword searches with my name and either ChatGPT or AI turned up a lot of threads (though I didn't start all of them, just replied in some). We've seen a lot of harm done by various tech advances, but I think AI could be far and away the worst.
