Learned and worked on three new songs this week.

Adele - Rolling In The Deep, Van Morrison - Jackie Wilson Said, and Led Zeppelin - Thank You.

I am having so much fun and it's such a great distraction from following most of the news.

I am mostly an acoustic guitar player but my husband surprised me on Valentine's Day with a beautiful Fender American Pro II Strat and it plays like a dream. I have never played anything like it. The feel, the sound, it's all so perfect.

That bell-like sound and the easy action, the way it balances itself on your shoulder or your lap.

Yumm. Glad you’re enjoying it!

I've finished a solo jazz guitar version of the old Billie Holiday song "Am I Blue?"
Going to play it at an open mic thing this Sunday. 27 distinct chords on this one!
Most of the songs I play are on 12 string, but there a few I need a 6 string. I've got 14 guitars, so I have options!
Keep at it & my one piece of advice is to only do it when it's fun. Don't let it be a chore.
