1. Use a restaurant tray stand, much cheaper and quite stable.

2. My LP cajon is 18" tall and the tray stands are 20" so the cajon won't reach the wood tray rails when it is fully open.

Thanks Marble for the suggestion. I ordered a Tycoon fixed wood cajon stand, 2 ft high with a slight incline for playing. Not adjustable but I probably can adjust the angle with hard foam blocks or something if needed. I can return to Amazon if it won't work for me, easy peasy...

4. They do make quite a variety of them, I got one of the more plain ones, black with a blondish wood front.

5. After more playing of the cajon I am going to return it, I couldn't get the sounds I wanted/expected..dang me...

I have bongos, congas and two frame drums to keep me busy and just ordered a 16" x 3.5" Roosebeck rosewood tuneable Bodhran with a removable T-bar. I know, a little wacky and indecisive but that's how I roll...
