M45 the pleiades star cluster from my backyard

10.5 hours of exposure tim eover 2 nights from my backyard
the cluster itself is about 450 light years from earth. Its used as the logo of teh subaru car company and is known as the subaru cluster in japan.
the nebula is lit by light reflecting off dust clouds in teh area its in

they are thought to be old red stars that have acquired more mass to heat up. they call them blue stragglers and have found them in some very old star clusters
