Madeira flowers

Made it into my 75th year last week. We went to Madeira for a week of warmer temps than Munich. It did rain most days. But the lowers were higher than the Munich highs so I'll take it. Out first trip to Portugal (cheating) since Madeira is a part of Portugal. Of course it does have a history in the slave trade. The only good thing is that they didn't displace any indigenous peoples to claim the island.

Here are some of the flowers I saw.

I have only been on this island. We do have friends who have moved there for retirement.
