1. They're just lovely. We are having the June gloom here.

7. We got lucky

We arrived after torrential rains and it rained most of the first week.
We got mostly sunny weather the second week.

2. Nice to see all that sunshine and color, we've had such a rainy June so far.

The only thing that is growing here is the lettuce in my garden, it really took off.
Well, of course, the weeds too.

It is nice to see plant life growing in old rocks, taking advantage of cracks and fissures.

The one that seems to be growing out of the rocks looks like it belongs on a motivational poster, with a caption like "Perseverance"!
