That is beautiful. The "design" of the clouds closest to the horizon is just amazing.

I didn't even really know you could go a half hour north of Spokane and not be in British Columbia (I think?), but I guess there's lots of beautiful forest land up there (obviously!) before you hit the border. Spokane is a very nice town; I have some friends who went to Gonzaga and I was able to visit.

you're right about the forest land. Before moving here we invested time in high desert with minimal foresting. It's nice to be back in the trees, Thanks!

settings were displayed and realized the automatic mode had reduced exposure compensation to 0.7, thereby making the picture appear more dramatic.
