We begin with one of three sprinklers Laurie rotates throughout the large yard.
Shadow likes to run under sprinklers.
Back outside Laurie is our lawn mower.
Heard geese approaching this morning. Managed to get a couple shots off.
Maddie grazing this morning.
Back indoors with Laurie putting drawer and door pullers on a new cabinet.
It's a project she's been putting off because she hates drilling holes into
beautiful wood. Meanwhile Shadow "supervises".

(11,563 posts)I love that first photograph. I can't tell if KC is protecting Shadow from a scolding or asking her why she would want to do something so silly as getting wet. The geese shot is fantastic.

(9,192 posts)Laurie often only gets to where something can't be done after she's tried like heck to get it done. My take on KC was he was wondering why the dog would want to get wet, but who can read the mind of a cat. As the flock flew overhead honking this morning the camera found itself at wide angle suddenly pointing straight up at
the sky. No time for focus. The one of two shots happened to come out.

I think Shadow looks a bit sheepish, as if to say, Sorry Dad, I just couldnt help myself. Maybe KC is looking at her wondering if shes gone crazy, enjoying getting wet?
The geese are fabulous.

(9,192 posts)stepped out on the porch and suddenly they were overhead and instinctively I swung my camera down at my waist upwards, wide angle lens already at its widest setting and had the time to click twice before they were gone. The one image came out. Serendipity shot for sure.
