Between that and Shawshank Redemption I always get sucked into watching those two movies all the time.
This Green Mile quote by John Coffey got me this time.
Mostly, I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world every day. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time.
John Coffey
It brings tears to my eyes every time!

That was character actor Dabbs Greer's last film role, as the old version of Paul.

I thought the movie was so well done, really kept to the spirit of the book. The guy who played Jim Coffey did such a fabulous job with a difficult role. I agree that this and Shawshank Redemption are 2 must watch movies, so human and emotional.
