The bottom line is oversight is conducted by our representatives on behalf of the American people.

When she refuses to answer their questions she is refusing to be accountable us.

Our taxes pay her salary.

Her tactic of using opposition research and slurs against Democratic Senators in unbecoming anyone in a position of authority and responsibility in our government.

She and so many others in the regime have no concept of decorum.

A sufficiently qualified U.S. Attorney General would have realized that. She just comes across as a 'wise guy' cheap blonde.

Tonight Jen Psaki talked about Bondi's notebook, that some sharp-eyed photographers caught shots of her notebook as she leafed through it frequently. It turns out that she had written down insults about the Democratic senators.

I didn't know Schiff's background, but my first thought was "of course he as an f-ing law degree you moron."

The second thought was, even if he didn't have a law degree, he has a far superior grasp of the essential legal concepts that apply to the execution of your job as Attorney General you corrupt MAGA shill.

Bondi, you have no ideology. Your hysterical lies are a product of your fear. Fear of being exposed as a creature of greed who has no principles and is in the game for the spoils that will be shoveled your way.

Like all the other boot lickers, you are in this for one thing -- to steal.

All this chaos, threat of troops in our streets, daily outrages, are all just a cover for a magnitude of corruption and theft that I think we have barely scratched the surface of.

As Oliver Kornetzke points out, it is all about amassing power as a means to steal more...

...Trump, a failed businessman and serial conman, didn’t stumble into power because he had a vision. He stumbled into it like a raccoon into a jewelry store: overwhelmed, opportunistic, and desperate to grab everything shiny before the lights come on. He brought with him a gang of similarly hollow, self-serving goons—parasites in flag pins—who recognized that brute force and spectacle could serve as a perfect cover for mass-scale corruption. All they needed was enough boots, enough masks, and enough Americans too scared or too exhausted to resist...

That’s what ICE is now—a terror squad designed not just to punish the “other,” but to frighten the rest into submission. They don’t need to knock on your door. They just need you to see what happens when they knock on hers. They want you disoriented, enraged, heartbroken, and above all—silent.

https://thehobbledehoy.com/tag/oliver-kornetzke/

What we need more than anything are intrepid journalists with integrity to quit chasing the daily outrages and dive into the government contracts being handed to tech bros, and other outright acts of theft.

Things like the involvement of the so far unnamed tech companies who will be processing new Medicare pre-authorizations and denying Medicare claims under the WISeR six state pilot, with a percentage of the "savings" of denied claims being shoveled into these unnamed tech company pockets.

Here, less than two months before this "program" is set to go into effect on 1/1/25, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare are oblivious as the the identities of these unnamed "tech company" beneficiaries?!?

Bullshit.

And this sort of thing is just scratching the surface. I believe they are engaged in a level of corruption that is so far beyond what we can imagine.

Marcos level shit -- emptying treasury funds into their own pockets.

Wed Oct 8, 2025, 04:03 PM

Over several hours, the attorney general was unprofessional and partisan, but most importantly, she was evasive, rejecting important lines of inquiry.

AG Pam Bondi was unprofessional and partisan, but most importantly, she was evasive, refusing to answer good questions she didn’t like.

Fortunately, Adam Schiff kept the receipts. www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddo...

Steve Benen (@stevebenen.com) 2025-10-08T13:48:39.368Z

https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/ag-pam-bondi-refused-answer-key-questions-adam-schiff-kept-receipts-rcna236327

The U.S. attorney general has traditionally been known as “the people’s lawyer.” Attorney General Pam Bondi, however, has gone out of her way to position herself as Donald Trump’s lawyer......

But it was the same California senator who also used the opportunity to share some of the receipts he’d collected over the course of the proceedings. As The New Republic noted:

Democratic Senator Adam Schiff of California took Attorney General Pam Bondi to task Tuesday for her incessant deflections and evasions throughout a Senate judiciary hearing. Bondi had verbally attacked Democratic senators throughout the hearing rather than answer their questions. Schiff was, evidently, keeping track of questions Bondi left unanswered, and he ran through the lengthy (yet inexhaustive) list.

It was arguably the most memorable exchange of the frustrating hearing.

"This is supposed to be an oversight hearing" -- Schiff helpfully ticks through all of the incriminating questions -- and there are many of them -- that Bondi refused to answer during today's hearing

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-10-07T17:29:23.535Z

As Schiff documented, Bondi refused to respond to all kinds of legitimate lines of inquiry, including:

whether the attorney general consulted with career ethics lawyers before approving a $400 million gift from Qatar (a country she was a paid lobbyist for);

what role she played in asking that Trump’s name be flagged in the Jeffrey Epstein files;

whether White House border czar Tom Homan took the $50,000 from undercover FBI agents in the run-up to the 2024 election;

whether career prosecutors found insufficient evidence to charge former FBI Director James Comey;

whether Bondi discussed the Comey indictment with Trump;

how the administration concluded that military strikes against civilians in international waters are legal;

whether Bondi approved the firing of antitrust lawyers who disagreed with the Hewlett Packard merger;

whether she supported a fund for violent insurrectionists who attacked the Capitol on Jan. 6;

whether the Justice Department had fired career professionals because they worked on Jan. 6 cases;
and whether DOJ employees should have to abide by court orders.

In effectively all of these instances, the attorney general could’ve offered substantive answers. She instead attacked senators for asking good questions she didn’t like.
