WASHINGTON (DC News Now) The U.S. Marshals swore in officers from state and local law enforcement agencies to assist in Freedom 250 celebrations.
Officials said that the special deputation ceremony took place at 12:30 p.m. on Friday on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
Officers from 44 different departments and agencies from across the country volunteered to support security operations.

And if reichwing legacy holds true, probably both outnumbered by portapotties.

The U.S. Marshals granted these officers special deputation, which grants them federal jurisdiction and authority as they support the U.S. Marshals and U.S. Park Police.
Until they go home? In perpetuity?
