PM Update: More rain overnight. Drying out but windy on Monday.

It’s been a soggy final day of February, and unfortunately, the wet weather extends into the start of March. But at least the second half of Monday will be drier and warmer, albeit a bit windy. Gusty winds will rattle a few windows tomorrow and tomorrow night as temperatures fall back below the freezing mark again.

Tomorrow (Monday): Light rain will continue through the morning, generally pushing east of the region sometime after noon. Temperatures will briefly jump into the upper 50s before the main cold front sweeps through. Winds will pick up quite a bit from the midmorning and through the afternoon, with gusts from the northwest at 30 to 40 mph. Cold and windy in the evening, with lows falling back into the upper 20s.
