Yamiche Alcindor Named Moderator of Washington Week.
I am very pleased to share with you that we have named Yamiche Alcindor as the new moderator of Washington Week, effective May 7. Yamiche is an incredibly talented reporter who has demonstrated the highest standards of journalism and earned the respect of her peers.
Yamiche has been the White House correspondent for PBS NewsHour since 2018 and will continue in that distinguished role, dividing her time between Washington Week and PBS NewsHour to bring viewers news and analysis from the nations capital. Previously, Yamiche was a national reporter for The New York Times, and she covered the White House for USA Today.
What happens in Washington is important to all Americans, and I could not be prouder than to have Yamiches important role in public media expanded to include the moderators chair at Washington Week.
