Some relief is on the way Sunday. But first, some messy weather.

A new batch of storms that formed to the south and west is encroaching on us as additional storms develop locally. Several severe thunderstorm warnings are up for our far south and west suburbs, mainly for a strong wind risk. This activity is moving northeast and will overtake the area the next few hours.

1. There was an Aldi's locally who had a worker shortage.

They put up a sign Hiring $10/hr.
It was up awhile

Then it changed to Hiring $11/hr.
That, too was up awhile.

Then finally it said $12/hr and tho it was up awhile it did finally come down. That was a few years ago. Wonder how it’s changed since then.
