(24,147 posts)Since drumpf is encouraging people in FL to vote by mail, he can't dog that, so he's settled on making us all massively sick and at risk by 11/3. Watch, he will close tons of polling places because the risk is too great so the state can reject hundred of thousands of mailed in ballots for signature mis-matching and steal the election again. That is all this is about. He wants a bunch of us in the hospital and dying to justify his desired closings.
I will not stop wearing masks and social distancing - but others will and we may have to retreat back to not going out at all again, except for our daily walks & groceries and my husband to his part time job. We will early vote on the first Tuesday it's available in our county and if we have to go downtown to the election office, so be it. Our area is very mixed, so hopefully we wont have closures here but then people would be coming from other areas and the lines will be longer. I told my husband yesterday that I want to bring a chair, hat, water, umbrella and suntan lotion just in case there are lines, which that have never been before, but these are different. more dangerous times.
