Clinton leads Trump ahead of final debate – and is closing in on Georgia

Las Vegas – The electoral map is looking bleak for Donald Trump ahead of the final presidential debate.

A new Fox News poll shows Democrat Hillary Clinton leading Trump by 6 points. A Bloomberg poll released Wednesday gives Clinton a 9-point lead over Trump. And a poll commissioned by the Arizona Republic shows Clinton has opened up a small but widening lead in that battleground state.

At the same time, Clinton seems to be gaining ground in Georgia, which hasn’t voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since 1992. An AJC poll in August staked her to a 4-point lead in Georgia after one of the worst weeks of his presidential campaign. Since then, most polls have showed Trump carving out a small, if consistent, lead.

That could be changing. A new poll of swing states from SurveyMonkey and the Washington Post has Clinton leading Trump by 4 points in Georgia. Another poll released Wednesday by zpolitics/Clout Research gives Trump a 3-point advantage.
