Did this really happen in Georgia?

Read that a man in Georgia kept a 14 year old girl in a dog cage and sexually abused her for a year. The judge gave him only 10 years probation--no jail time at all. Did this really happen?

1. technically, he was also sentenced to eight months of prison.

but he got credit for time served, so no additional prison time after sentencing.

he's also on the sex offenders list for life.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, in 2017, now-33-year-old Duluth resident Michael Wysolovski was arrested after FBI agents and police raided his home and discovered a 17-year-old girl who had been missing for over a year.
