Relieved parents were reunited with their children Thursday afternoon, hours after a shooting at an Atlanta school.
The 14-year-old student shot in the head outside Price Middle School is “alert, conscious and breathing,” Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos said.
The shooting occurred just before 2 p.m. in southeast Atlanta, north of the Lakewood area.
An armed police resource officer apprehended the suspect, also a student at the school, “within minutes,” authorities said during an afternoon news conference.

1. Looks like one person shot, a teacher had gotten cuts and scrapes

and the school's Resource officer took the shooter down. Sounds like the shooter is another student who got a gun in despite metal detectors.

All I hear in my county is add more guns. I'm sick of it.
