Sandy Springs mayoral race heats up with $300K raised among candidates
Candidates for mayor of Sandy Springs have collectively raised more than $300,000 so far through campaign contributions as of April 30.
The six city council seats and the mayor’s position are up for election on Nov. 4 in a non-partisan election.
Andy Bauman, who announced his campaign on April 3, raised $109,396 in a little more than a month. Bauman currently serves as the District 6 city council member.
Candidates in municipal elections were required to file a campaign contribution report Jan. 31, April 30 and June 30.
