'No Kings' Georgia protests: Dispatches from Macon, Savannah and Athens

(Atlanta Journal-Constitution) Protesters gathered in major Georgia cities on Saturday to protest President Donald Trump’s administration and its immigration enforcement policies, part of a broader wave of demonstrations across the country.

Thousands took to the streets in metro Atlanta on the same day as a military parade in Washington celebrating the Army’s 250th anniversary, which also coincided with Trump’s 79th birthday.
