I was on a cruise to Hawaii the first half of March. We were probably among the very last tourists there.

It is exciting and encouraging to participate in re-imagining new models for sustainable tourism.
I doubt we will ever see the numbers we had before, and thats crushing for many families.
The crisis has lifted the veil here as in other communities on the underlying social problems we face.
15 people in a two bedroom house, 11 of them are Covid positive so far.
These kinds of living arrangements are not unusual here among some communities.
Im seeing our homeless population become much thinner. In some cases, more aggressive, in others, seeming like they wait for the end.
The musubis and apples I give are well received but thats a bandaid, though necessary in the moment.
