Tribune Poll: Minimum Wage has strong support:

Ilinois voters strongly support the idea of increasing the minimum wage and raising the state income tax on millionaires — positions that could help Democrats drive turnout in November, a Chicago Tribune poll shows.

The survey also found that voters like the notion of placing term limits on state lawmakers, a concept that Republican governor challenger Bruce Rauner tried to put on the fall ballot before the courts struck down the effort.

Some good news. I know the media likes close races. This whole fixation on polls drives me nuts.

At least this article focuses on the issues. I hate that so much focus goes into polls and who is ahead. For the media, it's a sport and not about our lives.

i keep sayin- aint no way rauner gets any more votes than mittens did.
and i think the minimum wage is the perfect issue to be hammering.

rahm got a lot of shit for not signing on to a chicago only hike, but i think it was very smart politics.
