Good ways to get more involved in local Dem politics

Hey folks,

I live in Chicago, and would like to get more involved with local Dem politics (see OP). I was involved in Campus Dems in school, but haven't been as involved since graduating several years ago. I tried to look for information on my ward party organization, but their website is defunct and their facebook page is pretty dead as well. Any suggestions?

Maybe start with local Dem elected officials and inquire about upcoming meetings? Snarkoleptic Apr 2016 #1

County Party always needs extra people in presidential election years…..especially in support of GOTV efforts.

you can find them on the dfa website. all good democrats, but progressives working for change all the way to the bottom of the ticket.
