He said "I have no plans to have one of these big sort of circus meetings"

From the linked article:
"“Town hall meetings tend to be platforms for people to shout at one another and get angry at one another,” Roskam said. He noted that in 2016, he held 30 roundtable discussions and 11 telephone town hall meetings, which usually have about 10,000 people on the call. Roskam said he expects more on Monday night."

You have to go to his campaign website to sign up for the tele town hall. I've reluctantly done so....sigh. I just sent him a reply to a canned email response in which I asked him to stop robocalling me during dinner and now I had to turn around and request a robocall.

It's scheduled for 7:30 pm tonight, in case anyone wants to join me.

There is a town hall meeting in Dekalb tomorrow. It is at the Women's Center, 1021 State Street. He may or may not show up. It will be at 7:00 p.m.

There is another in Belvedere on the 23rd. It is at the Belvidere Community Center Complex, 111 W. 1st Street. It will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Let's show up and voice our concerns. Let's show Kinzinger, who was a tea party candidate, that this is not such a red district after all.
