Who else is getting telephone polls daily?

JM&J, the republicans are running scared in Illinois...I get *at least* one attempt at telephone polling a day...governor, conngresscritter, all the way down to state senate and state representative (who have been R in this district since before I was born) - I feel compelled to answer the poll and do my part to keep them running scared. Them -“How likely are you to vote in the November general election” Me - “ The only way I’m not voting in the November election is if I’m dead”

..with a landline (connected by actual wires) and no caller id...if I’m home, I answer. I do have to hang up on pesky old windows technical support fairly often..

and many of those who have landlines also have cell phones. Reason being, the chances of both going out at the same time are pretty small, and bad weather hits a lot.

the downside of landlines is that robo calls are heavy.

And weird...earlier tonight I got a robo call supposedly about a political survey, the voice said they were taking a survey of Arkansas voters.

I live in Alabama.

I have gotten a few calls recently I have not answered. Figured if they were important they would leave a voicemail.

I don’t answer any cell calls that I don’t recognize the number (and block the calling number for good measure)

of calls, but more than a few democratic groups have my number from past donating. I do get strange texts. Some with attachments. Never open the attachment and delete the text right away. I never answer calls if I don't know who the caller is.
