Looks like Bost is losing his grip on voters out in the corn.

In related news, a canvasser for Kelly came through my neighborhood the other day. That means in the 13 years I've lived in that house, he was the second Democratic canvasser to ever visit.
The first was just 6 weeks ago, when the district was listed as "likely Repub" - so I'm hopeful
I have a Kelly for congress sign in my yard now BTW

(10,437 posts)Davis is in trouble because he doesn't serve his constituents, too afraid to do town halls. Its so bad that a "likely republican hold" is now teetering on "tossup[" and GOP superPacs are throwing big $$$$ into the race as Davis is failing so bad in raising money.
No official polling has happen or released but talking with Betsy's people, they are very pleased at where they are at (without releasing internal polling)

(10,437 posts)no Senator up for re-election. The down ballot fear is justified as Illinois GOP is totally unenthused. This makes the likelihood of flipping 2,3,4,5 GOP congressional seats even MORE likely.

(11,746 posts)All they do is talk about leaving Illinois. I like to encourage them.
They are pathetic.
The Polack MSgt
(13,425 posts)They should leave since they seem to believe only Illinois taxes things - so move yo ass to one of those no tax heavens you talk about.
BTW, one of the main reasons I stay in Illinois is the tax break I get here - because Illinois doesn't tax pensions

I'm gonna volunteer a couple evenings a week through the election.
