1. Along with Difi, Durbin demanded they remove LGBT protections from the immigration bill

claiming Republicans would be bothered by it, so they should not even make Republicans defeat it.
In the Illinois Statehouse, Democrats are holding up an equality vote and some say they will vote against it because gay people don't deserve it, because of the Bible, you name it.

He is a fixture in the Senate, for as long as he wants. One consolation might be his age. He may choose to retire soon.

his home, to at least speak with him on the issue (she says he's "persuadable&quot but. like another

some signs and people picketing might bring attention to what he's doing.
