Illinois gubernatorial candidate Rauner supports minimum wage cut...until he doesn't.

The pug primary is in March and this Rahm Emanuel (who he made a millionaire) crony has been running TV and radio ads wall-to-wall since November.
Part of his schtick is that, despite the fact he's worth hundreds of millions, he wears a plastic $17 Timex watch.
Memo to Bruce...the proles aren't falling for this line of bullshit.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner Thursday called his comments for cutting Illinois’ minimum wage a “mistake” and said he actually supports raising it. “I was flippant, made a mistake, made a comment without thoroughly explaining my views,” Rauner told The Associated Press Thursday. “I didn’t use careful language.” However, apparently Rauner made the same mistake twice before Christmas. On tape.

Rauner's Republican opponents, Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford and State Sens. Kirk Dillard and Bill Brady, all blasted Rauner’s comments as flip-flopping and out-of-touch with the way ordinary people live. Democratic Governor Pat Quinn, who wants the State's minimum wage upped to $10, Thursday gleefully compared the entire GOP gubernatorial pack to the avaricious and heartless Simpsons cartoon villain C. Montgomery Burns.
