Kansas State Treasurer Steven Johnson (R) announces re-election campaign
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas State Treasurer Steven Johnson announced his bid for reelection.
Johnson announced his campaign for re-election on Wednesday, June 25 at the annual Bob Dole Dinner hosted by the Kansas Republican Party.
Citing his record as a reliable banker of state funds and a responsible fiduciary of invested dollars, Johnson told supporters:
“It has been a great honor to serve as your State Treasurer, and I’m excited to continue this work,” Johnson said. “I love coming into the office each day, because what we’re doing is making a real difference for Kansans.”
