Nate Silver is giving Michaud more than a 50% chance of beating Paul LePage in Maine. But...

This is based on PROJECTIONS (not solid polling data at the moment) given that the moderate Indy, Eliot Cutler, has all but left the race as of Wednesday admitting he has no path to a win. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/governors-forecasts-a-lot-of-close-races/

So it comes down to this: If about half of Cutler's people (Cutler has been polling most recently about 14%) jump ship to Michaud, then Michaud wins.

We have to do two things: GOTV like all hell is breaking loose and get the "drop off" non-presidential year voters the hell to the polls, AND we need to convince the Cutler voters that he is absolutely DONE, this is no time for a protest vote, and that they MUST support Michaud if their concern of ending the scourge that is LePage.

If these happen and it comes together, we'll win on Tuesday. But that means, Maine Dems and Progressives, that you MUST go vote, take people with you, spread the word, and please help GOTV at your nearest Dem Party office.

WE CAN NOT AFFORD FOUR MORE YEARS OF PAUL LEPAGE

******* And to all other D's, the Senate races are mostly CLOSE, and as other races all around the country. For goodness sake please do the same and HELP GOTV. THANKS ********
