Today’s weather here in Michigan got me to remembering past times of what I call raw weather. I’ve worked outside in various jobs and hated this weather.
Yet there were times when I was younger, maybe 10-15 years ago when I delighted in days such as these. Misty rain, a little snow mixed in blowing about on gusty winds. I’d get geared up and go kayaking. Something about being on the water with the wind in your face getting pelted by raindrops and snowflakes that made it fun.

I just helped Mr. Diamond repair a leaky skylight and install a new bulb in our driveway security light. We’re both chilled to the bone!

4. Worked outside when I was young. I feel for anyone who has to. Clothes and boots are better now though.
