Jamie Raskin on Cohen withdrawing from Oversight Committee testimony

'My statement:

“Donald Trump’s brazen disrespect for the law has dragged our country into new depths of corruption. It is plainly unacceptable if American citizens are being intimidated by the President of the United States as they prepare to be witnesses before Congress. If true—and the President’s public statements threatening Mr. Cohen and his family are nothing if not obvious attempts to interfere with his testimony, this is a naked assault on the rule of law and I’m calling on all of my colleagues, Democrat and Republican alike, to reject this new low in presidential disrespect for our Constitution, democratic government and the separation of powers.”'
