In accordance with the governor's executive order to expand face covering requirements throughout

Maryland, as of Friday, July 31 at 5 p.m., masks are required outdoors at Calvert County parks and pools if you are unable to consistently maintain at least six feet of distance from individuals who are not members of your household.

Exception to this requirement applies for anyone who:

- Has a disability or medical condition that makes it unsafe to wear a mask;
- Is consuming food or beverages;
- Is swimming or engaging in other physical activities (such as soccer, golf, football, tennis, basketball, etc.) where the use of face covering is likely to pose a safety risk; or
- Is less than five years old.

Thanks to all residents for your continued efforts to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Calvert County. Visit www.CalvertCountyMd.gov/Coronavirus for COVID-19 and Comcast channel 6 or 1070 for updates, information and resources.
