are provided by the daily satellite readings provided by the NOAA. The temperatures given are the sea surface temperature (SST) which is most relevant to recreational users. (Solomons is in Calvert County.)

((For everyone's info, my house (and little beach) is 5 miles north of Solomons, and friends with kids will party here tomorrow, including swimming! CURRENT air temp @ my front door is 77, and 'officially' is 73.))

At the Tiki bar and the little public fishing pier by it.

sounds like a fairly wild crowd, and I 'sat' for her kids!
