Please help. They could use monetary donations, as well a donations of gift cards, furniture, spare rooms, storage space, drivers, etc.

DMV Friends: 2,500 Afghans are expected to arrive and be resettled in the next few weeks. Lutheran Social Services (National Capital Area) has put out a call for those willing to assist in resettlement with their time, donations, and efforts.

1. Thanks. A friend and his church/community have been donating

for upkeep of an already 'settled' Afghan and his family. They are 'homesick,' I'm told, missing their culture. IF lucky, the new influx will, eventually, help relieve that.
