Police track down family of nameless boy days after he was found alone on Baltimore street
After more than two days, Baltimore police have located the parents or guardian of a young boy who was found wandering the streets in the middle of the night early Saturday. Police canceled the lookout for the childs parents or guardian on Monday afternoon, noting they have been located and are communicating with Child Protective Services.
A concerned resident first spotted the boy alone outside in the dark and cold about 3 a.m. Nov. 27 in the 2000 Kennedy Avenue and reported it as a possible case of child neglect. The 3 to a 4-year-old child was walking in the street by himself, police said, and didnt know where he lives or his name. The child was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital for an evaluation, but appeared to be in good condition.
Police updated the department Facebook page that they had found the responsible adults for the child but did not provide any other information about who the adults were, where the adults had been, how the child came to be alone in the street, or whether any charges were filed.
