Given how often the supposed threat of transgender athletes has been surfacing on your television screen, you might be wondering how massive the onslaught actually is.
I get paid to be curious for all of us, so I called the Michigan High School Athletic Association to ask: How many trans girls are swarming our state’s sidelines?
The answer:
Two.

3. Figured it was just a couple

Listen, most trans kids have zero desire to play sports as it brings attention and that's the last thing a trans kid wants to ddeal with. The ones who do play trans sports, are doing so without issue, no one is bothered by it.

We can't set policy that effercts the many because of some odd corner cases somewhere that some people don't think is fair. What we are doing in Michigan works. It's a case by case basis, the way it should be. If some 6-7, 225 pound star basketball player transitions to female and wants to play girl's basketball, the system can handle that individual case on its merits, but we aren't seeing anything like that.

4. Ted Cruz is in trouble and is bringing up that issue.

But seriously, I worry that those ads are targeting some specific group to get them angry enough to vote, in the same way the Russians used social media in 2016 to get out the margin of victory in a few swing states.

6. Plus, despite the parity of athletes' ages, the commercials speak of ...

... MEN sharing locker rooms with GIRLS.

That usually doesn't happen, unless Trump is running a teen beauty contest, in which he must visit the changing room.
