Former NFL journalist Michele Tafoya filed paperwork on Tuesday to run for Minnesota Senate, giving a boost to Republicans as they look to flip retiring Sen. Tina Smiths (D-Minn.) seat.

In the 60s there was a print w Nixon with the caption "Would you buy a used car from this man?", which was an early print based meme.
The GOP has a long history of using slick grifters with good sakes skills.

but one of the phrases used against him was "Would you buy a used car from this man?"
Meaning he couldn't be trusted.
