My husband and I are flying to Minneapolis

in a few weeks for a wedding. I hate to have to say this, but we’re white and I know that confers privilege to us. Should I get a burner phone for the trip in case I’m stopped at the airport or elsewhere?

ICE is mostly in the suburbs now. Be sure to visit an immigrant-owned restaurant while you're here; they really need the business.

You should be fine in Minnetonka which is too posh for them; they are mostly in the lower-income suburbs like Fridley, Columbia Heights and Brooklyn Park.
