Hopewell Borough Democrats Fill Council Vacancy for November Ballot
The Hopewell Borough Democratic Committee has announced the selection of Anthony T. Fuller, a dedicated Democratic Committeeman, to fill an unexpected vacancy, left by Samara McAuliffe (D), for Hopewell Borough Council on the November general election ballot.
Under statutory requirements, the elected members who make up the Democratic Committee had a tight deadline to fill the vacancy and reviewed the interest and credentials of a wide range of eligible Democrats, including all those who had previously expressed interest in running for Council this year. After careful consideration, Anthony T. Fuller was unanimously chosen to represent the Democratic Party on the ballot.
Fuller brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to the community. He has lived in Hopewell since 2005 with his wife and two children, and has been actively engaged with schools as a parent representative, in addition to his work on the Democratic Committee.
A seasoned procurement and sustainability professional in pharma, he has extensive knowledge of contract negotiation, supplier management, and developing and implementing strategies that enhance organizational resilience. If elected in November, Fuller hopes that his skills and expertise will contribute to making Hopewell a great place to live, to visit, and to do business in.
