MAGA billionaire Musk's company PAC gave money to 2 Dems running for N.J. governor

NJ.com -- Tech billionaire Elon Musk last year rose to become one of the most influential figures in Donald Trump’s MAGA orbit and shelled out $280 million to help the Republican win back the White House.
There’s also a political fundraising committee from Musk’s aerospace firm that has given thousands to other candidates from both parties — including two of the top Democrats now running for New Jersey governor, an NJ Advance Media analysis found.
U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill and political action committees supporting her received about $31,500 from SpaceX’s corporate PAC as Sherrill ran to keep her seat in Congress from 2019 to 2024, federal campaign records show.
U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer received $2,500 from the company’s PAC last November, just before he won another term.
